Servant Leader. Building Stronger Mortgage Teams Together.
My passion lies in empowering individuals to excel and fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can build thriving careers they are proud of.
Growing up in a real estate family in Billings, Montana, I witnessed firsthand the power of teamwork in this industry. My father's 40+ years of experience instilled in me a deep appreciation for the impact a strong team can have.
Leveraging that foundation, I graduated with honors from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington (Go Zags!) with a degree in Finance in 1994. Since then, I have dedicated over 30 years as a veteran mortgage loan originator, and I still actively originate and close loans on a daily basis.
This hands-on production keeps me at the forefront of the industry: mastering evolving mortgage products, navigating regulatory compliance, conducting in-depth financial analysis, evaluating risk, and creatively solving complex borrower challenges to structure winning loans.
My leadership is rooted in this ongoing production. I have built my skills not just through theory but through consistent, real-world results: consultative client relationships, empathetic communication that demystifies complex processes, strong partnerships with realtors and referral sources, and a track record of guiding clients to successful closings with confidence and trust.
Now, I am dedicated to sharing that current, battle-tested knowledge and experience with you to help build your winning team.
The principles that guide every conversation.

The pressure points that create anxiety.
Most clients get frustrated in the same few places. These are the friction points I have learned to anticipate and resolve over 35 years.
The Paper Chase
Bank statements, tax returns, gift letters. Each new request feels like the process is moving backward. The emotional hit is "I already gave them this."
The Black Box of Underwriting
Once the file is submitted, many clients feel the loan disappears into a void. Silence creates the worst anxiety.
Appraisal Timing & Outcome
Delays push the entire timeline. A low value forces renegotiation, extra cash, or can kill the deal. Clients often feel powerless here.
Communication Gaps Between Parties
When the loan officer, processor, realtor, title company, and underwriter are not tightly coordinated, the client feels it immediately.
The Final Stretch
Last-minute title issues, revised closing disclosures, or funding delays hit harder because the finish line is visible and any friction feels amplified.
Clients rarely get frustrated by the process itself. They get frustrated by opacity, repetition, and feeling out of control. That is exactly why proactive communication and tight realtor coordination matter so much.
I would welcome the opportunity to talk.
